We measure traffic on our public pages with Vercel Web Analytics, run by Vercel Inc., the platform that hosts RentBunny. Each page view records the time, the page address, the site that referred you, and signals read from the request itself: approximate location (country, region, city), browser, operating system and device type. We strip the query string — everything after the ? — from the address before it is sent, so references such as a booking confirmation code never leave with it. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. To count a visit once rather than twice, Vercel derives a temporary identifier from the incoming request; it is discarded after 24 hours and cannot be used to follow you across sites or to work out who you are. We see counts and trends, never a person. Vercel makes that data available to us for 12 months.

Because nothing is stored on your device and nothing identifies you, we do not ask you to accept analytics cookies — there are none to accept. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.

RentBunny does set cookies for one other reason: keeping you signed in. Those are strictly necessary for the site to work — they hold your session after you log in, and they are set only once you have an account and sign in. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

When you tap a property's phone number or email address on a listing on RentBunny, we record that you started the contact: the property, whether it was a call or an email, which page you started it from, and when. We record the tap, not the outcome — we have no way of knowing whether you went on to place the call or send the message. We do not record the call, the message, the phone number you dialled, your IP address, or your device. Property managers see only totals for their own listings, never who tapped or when.

We keep those records for the life of the listing, because they are what a property manager's demand history is built from. If you ask us to erase your account, we unlink you from them — the record that a contact happened remains, with nothing left tying it to you.
